At MTCS we are blessed to have one of the premier scholastic shotgun programs in the state of Tennessee if not the nation. Our origins date back to the very beginning of scholastic shooting in 1999. Along the way we have enjoyed great success and continue to be a leader in Rutherford County and the middle Tennessee region which is arguably one of the best regions for scholastic trap in the nation. Last year's accomplishments include:
• Varsity team won 1st place at the Tennessee AIM state! (Austin Lowe tied for High Gun)
• Rookie team (4th and 5th grade) placed 2nd in the nation at the ATA Grand American in Sparta, Illinois!
• Trey Hill and Taylor Bolin qualified and competed in the USA Shooting Junior Olympic Trap competition held at the Olympic Village in Colorado Springs, Colorado!
• Trey Hill was selected as an ATA 1st team All-American in his age group!
